Block Printing & Ecoprinting Wall Hangings is a hands-on art workshop that combines botanical printing and block printing techniques to create custom cotton and linen wall hangings. Led by artists Dolly R. Sickles and Dr. Deena Class, participants will learn sketching and stamp-carving techniques, create hand-carved stamps and explore eco-printing with flowers and leaves to produce one-of-a-kind mixed-media pieces. Designed for adults ages 18 and older, the make-and-take class includes all supplies. Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch. Registration is available through Chatham County Parks and Recreation.
