At this Fabric Coiled Baskets workshop on Sat, Mar 14, 1pm-4pm, you’ll learn how to make a cute bowl from fabric wrapped around cotton cording and sewn together. You can make potholders and trivets, too, or even a BIG basket; the method is the same!

Participants are required to have basic sewing-machine operating skills. The Arts Center has sewing machines available for class use, but participants are always welcome to bring their own. Supplies are included. This one-class session is instructed by Bea Lee. Registration opens Mon, Feb 2, and closes Mon, Mar 9. This event is held indoors at the new Chatham County Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources (CCPRCR) Arts Center, located at 964 East Street, Suite 105, Pittsboro, NC 23712, on the backside of the building. To access the studio, drive straight through the open gate and look for the sign that reads “Arts Center.” Visual Arts participants may park in the back lot.
