At Peace Painting on Fri, Jan 23, 10am-11am, you’ll join others in honoring the spirit of Marin Luther King Jr., promoting a message of peace and unity. Participants will paint large wooden peace cutouts perfect for hanging in your home.

Supplies are included. This one-class session is instructed by Leigh Babcock.  Registration opens Mon, Dec 15, 2025, and closes Mon, Jan 19, 2026. This event is held indoors at the new Chatham County Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources (CCPRCR) Arts Center, located at 964 East Street, Suite 105, Pittsboro, NC 23712, on the backside of the building. To access the studio, drive straight through the open gate and look for the sign that reads “Arts Center.” Visual Arts participants may park in the back lot.
