At Paper Puppet Making, class will begin with designing a large paper mask. You will use markers, crayons, stencils, and more. Next, you will turn the paper mask into a 3-D form and assemble the body by attaching a wooden dowel to the back. Finally, you will dress up your puppet with tissue paper. Supplies are included. Instructed by Leigh Babcock. This one-class session takes place Wed, Dec 3, 6pm-7:30pm. Registration opens Mon, Oct 27, and closes Mon, Dec 1.

This event is held indoors at the new Chatham County Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources (CCPRCR) Arts Center, located at 964 East Street, Suite 105, Pittsboro, NC 23712, on the backside of the building. To access the studio, drive straight through the open gate and look for the sign that reads “Arts Center”. Visual Arts participants are permitted to park in the back parking lot.
