At Fabric Coiled Baskets (Beginners) on Sat, Nov 8, 1pm-4pm, you’ll learn how to make a cute bowl from fabric wrapped around cotton cording and sewn together. You can make potholders and trivets, too, or even a BIG basket; the method is the same! The recommended supply list can be found here. Instructed by Bea Lee. Registration opens Mon, Sep 29, and closes Mon, Nov 3.

This event is held indoors at the new Chatham County Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources (CCPRCR) Arts Center, located at 964 East Street, Suite 105, Pittsboro, NC 23712, on the backside of the building. To access the studio, drive straight through the open gate and look for the sign that reads “Arts Center”. Visual Arts participants are permitted to park in the back parking lot.
