Kick off your creative writing adventure in Romancelandia with this hands-on Creative Writing: Romance workshop, which focuses on the creative and business aspects of the romance genre. Creatively, you’ll work on developing character, plot, and story, along with building tension and emotion. Business discussions will include identifying publishers and agents, writing a synopsis, and preparing your submission. Instructed by Dolly Sickles. This one-class session takes place Sat, Sep 20, 10am-1pm. Registration opens Mon, Aug 11, and closes Mon, Sep 15.

This event is held indoors at the new Chatham County Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources (CCPRCR) Arts Center, located at 964 East Street, Suite 105, Pittsboro, NC 23712, on the backside of the building. To access the studio, drive straight through the open gate and look for the sign that reads “Arts Center”. Visual Arts participants are permitted to park in the back parking lot.
