Come see a live hive at the Arts Center during Bee Painting with a Beekeeper on Thu, Dec 11, 6pm-7:30pm. Meet Michael Smith, a Chatham County, North Carolina Certified Beekeeper, who will be speaking about bees. Discover why honeybees are crucial to our agriculture and the food we eat. Then enjoy painting your own unique bee using watercolors and ink! Supplies are included. Instructed by Leigh Babcock. Registration opens Mon, Nov 3, and closes Mon, Dec 8.

This event is held indoors at the new Chatham County Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources (CCPRCR) Arts Center, located at 964 East Street, Suite 105, Pittsboro, NC 23712, on the backside of the building. To access the studio, drive straight through the open gate and look for the sign that reads “Arts Center”. Visual Arts participants are permitted to park in the back parking lot.
