Sake Chef’s Dinner
Get ready for an evening celebrating the fusion of Japanese culture and cuisine with local ingredients at this Sake Chef’s Dinner on Wed, Aug 13, 6pm-10pm. Hosted by West End Kitchen in partnership with Koshu Sake Bar, this exquisite five-course dinner features a carefully selected sake pairing, accompanied by insights into rice styles, the growing process, and tasting notes. Throughout the night, West End and Koshu owners will share photos and stories from their trip to Japan. Seating begins at 6pm and closes at 7pm. Tickets are $150 per guest for the tasting and dinner (plus applicable NC sales tax), and $100 for food courses only (plus applicable NC sales tax and ticket service fee).

- First Course: Local mixed greens with melon and cherry blossom vinaigrette. Paired with Izumibashi Black Dragonfly Kimoto Junmai.
- Second Course: Dual course of yuzu ceviche and miso soup. Paired with Heiwa Shuzou Ginjo.
- Third Course: Sea bass with mango pineapple chutney. Paired with Komari Tropical Junmai Daiginjo.
