Jordan Lake Journeys (JLJ) offers pontoon boat wildlife viewing tours of Jordan Lake State Recreation Area. You will have a chance to see amazing wildlife, including bald eagles, osprey, herons, duck, and other aquatic life. JLJ narrates the history of Jordan Lake and Cape Fear River Basin and provides refreshments (bottle water, soda, diet soft drinks, fruit, and a variety of chips for all guests). A basic journey is two and a half hours, but also available is a four-hour tour to see more of Jordan Lake’s 180 miles of shoreline. JLJ operates daily (beginning Apr 1, 2019) from Moncure, NC, at the south end of the Lake.
