Pottery on the Wheel – Open Studio is for participants with experience on the wheel and for those who can work independently without instructor guidance. The registration fee includes 6 hours of open studio time, glaze, and firing. Open studio is reserved for one hour immediately following class time. Supplies are not included – please bring a 25lb bag of cone 6 clay and clay tools. Limited space is available for this six-session class, so make sure to register early! Classes are held every Thursday, Mar 6-Apr 17, 10am-2pm. No class will take place Thu, Mar 20.

The Arts Center is located at 964 East Street, Pittsboro, NC 27312, on the backside of the building. To access the studio, drive straight through the open gate and look for the sign on the door that reads “Arts Center.” Registration opens Mon, Jan 20, and closes Mon, Feb 24. This event is held indoors by Chatham County Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources (CCPRCR).
