Kitchen Creators Camp with Ms. Tara
August 6 @ 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
Kitchen Creators Camp with Ms. Tara is an exciting day camp opportunity for ages 11-15 with a focus on cooking. Campers will join FCS Agent Tara Gregory at the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center to learn some new skills and delicious recipes in the kitchen. Campers will be making their own lunch during the camp sessions, so lunch and snacks will be taken care of for each day. Campers should bring their own water bottle or cup if they have one. Enrollment space is limited to 8 youths per session. Program dates and topics are outlined below:
- Tue, Jul 16, 9:30am-3:30pm: Knife Skills & Italian Cuisine
- Thu, Jul 18, 9:30am-3:30pm: Baking Italian Recipes

Campers must be dropped off and picked up on time – a fee will be assessed for late pick-ups. The cost is $35 per session. A limited number of need-based scholarships are available – please inquire with the Cooperative Extension/4-H office for more information on how to apply. Any dietary restrictions should be relayed to FCS Agent Tara Gregory at [email protected] at least one month prior to ensure accommodations. Accommodation requests can be made to Tara Gregory up to one week before the workshop. Contact her at 919-542-8247 or [email protected].
