DESCRIPTION:In Intermediate Home Mead Making -Melomels: Adding Fruit\, you will learn about melomels\, or mead with fruit\, ranging from dry-wine-like fruit meads to big “fruit bombs”. Does it make a difference if you add the fruit in the primary\, secondary\, or after fermentation? What about pectic haze – what causes it and what should you do about it? Starrlight will answer all these questions and more. You’ll also taste some examples of different fruit meads. \nThis class is $50 per person and $75 for groups of two. All class participants must be over 21! No exceptions. Register by Wed\, Jul 8 to participate. This event occurs Sat\, Jul 11\, 10am-1pm at Starrlight Mead.
