Celebrate with us at an art reception like no other. Fri, Oct 14, 5:30pm - 8pm Pittsboro Gallery of Arts will host, Bal Masque: ART UNMASKED, a newly curated Gallery show featuring the work of 28 local artists and French masquerade party. Wear your mask or don one provided by the Gallery. Enjoy a Champagne cocktail, hors d’oeuvres, photo ops, and art, plus music by Pat Stucke (accordionist). Masquerade attire optional (and encouraged). Event is free and all are welcome.

Join Pittsboro Gallery of Arts for the opening reception of their new exhibit, Break Glass in case of... POP! on Fri, Mar 10, 5pm-8pm. The works will be displayed Mar 7-Apr 2, featuring artists Sarah Fishbein and Alissa Van Atta. Vintage ads and comics influence the contemporary pop art style artworks of Van Atta and Fishbein. Van Atta’s paintings and Fishbein’s mosaics speak to contemporary feminism, looking back at the influences of mid-century advertising and romance comic books.
