DESCRIPTION:During this DIY Rain Barrel Class on Mon\, Mar 17\, 7pm-8:30pm\, you’ll learn about rain barrels with staff from the Chatham County Watershed Protection Department and understand the benefits of rain barrels to the landscape and tips on how to make and install a rain barrel at your home. Then\, you’ll make one for your home! Rain barrels are a great way to decrease stormwater runoff on your property and store water for your garden plants. \nRegistration opens Wed\, Feb 5\, and closes Wed\, Mar 12. This event is held indoors at the Old Agriculture Building Auditorium (65 East Chatham Street\, Pittsboro\, NC 27312). by Chatham County Parks\, Recreation\, and Cultural Resources (CCPRCR).
