DESCRIPTION:During Celebrate Earth Day! Nature Mandalas\, Chatham County Master Gardener volunteers will take you for a walk to collect natural materials and discuss patterns in nature. Participants will learn about the benefits of playing with natural materials and create a Mandala. The process of creating and looking at a Mandala can be used to aid in mindfulness by centering the mind and body while allowing the creative mind to run free. Each participant will have a take-home photograph of their artwork. This one-class session is hosted on Fri\, Apr 25\, 4pm-5:30pm. Registration opens Mon\, Mar 17 and closes Mon\, Apr 21. \nThis event is held outdoors and indoors at Northwest District Park by Chatham County Parks\, Recreation\, and Cultural Resources (CCPRCR).
