First Day Outdoors Hike
Hop off your cozy couch and join Friends of Lower Haw their First Day Outdoors Hike Sun, Jan 1, 12pm-1pm! They will hike a section of the Lower Haw River State Natural Area located off US 15-501 upstream of the Bynum Dam. This is a relatively easy loop hike of about 1 mile that includes a stream crossing. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy water-resistant shoes that you don’t mind getting wet. All ages are welcome.
