Their skilled farmers will guide you in crafting an exquisite Christmas wreath while you learn the artistry of transforming greenery into stunning festive decor. The wreath workshop includes beautiful greenery\, a bow\, a wreath ring\, and wire to finish a wreath that is 18-26 inches in diameter – perfect for most commonly-sized doors. Bring a pair of garden clippers and plastic or cardboard to lay your finished wreath on\, as sometimes sap can drain from fresh-cut greenery. Workshops take place on the following dates: \n\nSat\, Nov 22\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nWed\, Nov 26\, 10:30am-1pm.\nWed\, Dec 3\, 9:30am-12pm.\nThu\, Dec 4\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nThu\, Dec 11\, 9:30am-12pm.\nSat\, Dec 13\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nSun\, Dec 14\, 2:30pm-5pm.\n\nThis workshop is suitable for ages 13 years and older. Participants will wander through vibrant fields to hand-pick their own seasonal flowers\, crafting a unique autumnal arrangement.  Instead of a traditional vase\, you’ll use a charming pumpkin cookie jar to showcase your floral masterpiece\, adding a cozy\, festive touch. This workshop is perfect for a girls’ afternoon out\, a special mother-daughter bonding experience\, or a fun date for couples. \nThis class takes place at the Jordan Lake Farms Pavilion. The cost is $80 per arrangement participant and $20 for participant guest/floral helpers. The workshop includes a pumpkin-shaped cookie jar that will come in handy for the fall season\, a bucket full of flowers\, fall decorations\, step-by-step instructions\, tools\, and a glass of wine. You’re welcome to bring outside food to enjoy\, but there will also be mini charcuterie boards for purchase with NC products such as cheeses\, salamis\, cheese straws\, cookies\, peanuts\, and much more. Participants must be at least 14 years old.  Those 14-17-year-olds need to be accompanied by an adult. \nSpots are limited. Reserve yours today to secure your place in this blooming adventure. DESCRIPTION:Large flower bouquets can be purchased on our online store and picked up on at the farm on Wed and Sat mornings and Thursday evenings.  During the ordering process you can pick a color preference and day of pick-up (Please allow 24h between order time and pick-up day).  Mason jars may be purchased separately if you are gifting the bouquet and want it ready for giving. Please note that hours are subject to change due to weather\, flower supply\, or unforeseen circumstances. All changes/closures will be posted their Facebook page. \nOpen Tue\, Wed\, and Sat mornings: 8:30am -12pm and Thu evenings\, 4pm – 8pm.\nWed and Fri evenings are reserved for U-Pick flower private events\, 5pm – 8pm.\nPrivate events include: \n\nPrivate access to the flower farm and gift shop. Only your guests will be here.\nClippers are available.\nConcession stand porch with picnic tables for flower arranging and socializing.\nWater and lemonade.\nAccess to concession stand counter and refrigerator/freezer if you would like to have other refreshments and/or party snacks.\nEvent cost and guest limit: Farm and space rental for the event is $150. A non-refundable deposit of $50 will reserve your event and be applied to your total event balance that is due the evening of the event.\nGuidelines: “as many flowers as you can fit in our pitcher or bucket” option as one flat rate. The event cost (25% discount from our non-event prices) for each pitcher full of flowers is $15 and each bucket full is $30. This rate is for the flowers only\, the pitchers and buckets are not for sale. One full pitcher can easily fill 2 or 3 – 32 oz mason jars\, depending on how full you like your bouquet.  So\, you can have your guests easily share flowers for bouquet arranging.\nBring your own vases/jars or purchase mason jars from us to arrange your flower bouquets. Mason jars may be purchased during the event for $6 each. A maximum of 25 guests are allowed.\nReserve your date your date in the online appointments section below. Email and provide the following information: brief description of your event\, number of guests\, anything special we should know about or questions.\nAll parking will be at the main lot near the Christmas shop (the red barn). There may be some construction materials in the parking lot so please park leaving plenty of space between your car and the materials. Also\, when parking please make sure your car is not blocking other cars from entering or exiting.
