DESCRIPTION:Unleash your creativity and celebrate your furry friends at For Garden’s Sake with their Paint and Sip – Pet Edition on Sun\, Feb 23\, 11am-12pm. Whether you want to create a portrait of your beloved pet or gift your friend a masterpiece of theirs\, this event is for you. No drawing experience? No problem! They’ll do the hard part by sketching your pet’s image onto the canvas ahead of time. All you have to do is enjoy the fun of painting and sip a glass of your favorite drink. Join For Garden’s Sake for a relaxed\, art-filled experience where you’ll leave with a keepsake to treasure! \nAfter you sign up you will receive an email from sydney@fgsdurham.com asking you to send a picture you would like to use for the workshop. Please send a picture back as soon as possible so they can get your furry friends sketched out on the canvas. The last day to sign up and send your pet pictures is Thu\, Feb 20.  \nThe fee for this class is $90 per person and includes an 11″x14″ canvas\, all necessary materials and supplies\, a beverage (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available)\, a snack\, and a coupon to shop at the garden center. This event takes place indoors at the O’Kelly Chapel. All classes are nonrefundable. To receive a credit towards another class you must email at least 24 hours prior. Canceling within the 24-hour window forgoes the ability to transfer your credits. Shiplap + Sage will provide everything needed to make a custom-blended 16oz candle with all-natural soy wax\, essential oils\, and biosimilar fragrances\, along with their expertise as they guide you through building a complex fragrance. In addition to learning how to blend fragrances for maximum enjoyment\, they’ll share the background and history behind fragrances and how the industry has evolved. Shiplap + Sage will also share their journey to finding clean\, healthy alternatives without sacrificing beautiful smells – plus tips for longer-lasting\, cleaner-burning candles. \nThe fee for this class is $40 per person (if you want to make a second candle\, it’s +$20). The cost includes the mixology class and your 16oz candle. For Garden’s Sake will provide a snack and beverage (alcoholic and free-spirited options available). If you mix a second fragrance blend\, please only register for yourself. Opting for a second candle means you will make two candles – not registering for you and a plus one.
