About Compare Foods
In 1978, the Pe?a family embarked on a journey which would lead to the formation of Compare Foods. That year the Pe?a family opened their first supermarket in Woodside, Queens. After the initial success of this first store, the family expanded in the supermarket business, eventually having stores in Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Manhattan.
