SUMMARY:Summer Camps at Old Mill Farm
DESCRIPTION:Join Old Mill Farm for 2026 Summer Camps\, hosted select weeks in June\, July\, and August\, 2026\, 8:30am-3pm. Each day offers new ideas and activities! Your child will learn how to enjoy the great outdoors in their beautiful 6-acre farm setting. Activities vary day to day\, but a bulk of a camper’s day will be spent outdoors tending to\, feeding\, and caring for the animals\, fishing in the pond\, collecting eggs for their farm stand\, doing farm crafts\, gardening\, playing outdoor games\, and learning about life on a farm. In addition to all the fun activities the farm has to offer\, they plan to host guest speakers/activities\, a STEAM-based project that campers will work on throughout the week\, and a Farm Entrepreneurship focus. \nAs a farm\, they are always on top of the weather and will adjust schedules accordingly. The farm offers its own microclimates and activity spaces\, so there’s lots of flexibility for activities. In the event of thunderstorms/adverse weather\, they have access to climate-controlled indoor spaces for campers to enjoy. Each week is limited to 40 campers\, with a camper-to-staff ratio of 7:1 to provide a safe and special experience for each camper. Your child will learn how to enjoy the great outdoors in their beautiful 6-acre farm setting. Activities vary day to day\, but a bulk of a camper’s day will be spent outdoors tending to\, feeding\, and caring for the animals\, fishing in the pond\, collecting eggs for their farm stand\, doing farm crafts\, gardening\, playing outdoor games\, and learning about life on a farm. In addition to all the fun activities the farm has to offer\, they plan to host guest speakers/activities\, a STEAM-based project that campers will work on throughout the week\, and a Farm Entrepreneurship focus. \nAs a farm\, they are always on top of the weather and will adjust schedules accordingly. The farm offers its own microclimates and activity spaces\, so there’s lots of flexibility for activities. In the event of thunderstorms/adverse weather\, they have access to climate-controlled indoor spaces for campers to enjoy. Each week is limited to 40 campers\, with a camper-to-staff ratio of 7:1 to provide a safe and special experience for each camper. Your child will learn how to enjoy the great outdoors in their beautiful 6-acre farm setting. Activities vary day to day\, but a bulk of a camper’s day will be spent outdoors tending to\, feeding\, and caring for the animals\, fishing in the pond\, collecting eggs for their farm stand\, doing farm crafts\, gardening\, playing outdoor games\, and learning about life on a farm. In addition to all the fun activities the farm has to offer\, they plan to host guest speakers/activities\, a STEAM-based project that campers will work on throughout the week\, and a Farm Entrepreneurship focus. \nAs a farm\, they are always on top of the weather and will adjust schedules accordingly. The farm offers its own microclimates and activity spaces\, so there’s lots of flexibility for activities. In the event of thunderstorms/adverse weather\, they have access to climate-controlled indoor spaces for campers to enjoy. Each week is limited to 40 campers\, with a camper-to-staff ratio of 7:1 to provide a safe and special experience for each camper. SUMMARY:My Little Farmer Summer Camp - Ages 3.5-6
DESCRIPTION:Join My Little Farmer in Durham for a Farm Summer Camp hosted for several weeks throughout the summer. Get ready for a fun-filled summer on the farm. Each day includes morning animal feedings and interactions\, a daily experiential project\, crafts\, and games. Campers will have snack time and lunch on the farm. Camp is held the following weeks: \n\nMon\, Jun 8-Fri\, Jun 12\, 8:45am-12:45pm.\nMon\, Jun 15-Fri\, Jun 19\, 8:45am-12:45pm.\nMon\, Jun 22-Fri\, Jun 26\, 8:45am-12:45pm.\nMon\, Jun 29-Fri\, Jul 3\, 8:45am-12:45pm.\nMon\, Jul 6-Fri\, Jul 10\, 8:45am-12:45pm.\nMon\, Jul 20-Fri\, Jul 24\, 8:45am-12:45pm.\nMon\, Jul 27-Fri\, Jul 31\, 8:45am-12:45pm.\nMon\, Aug 3-Fri\, Aug 7\, 8:45am-12:45pm.\nMon\, Aug 10-Fri\, Aug 14\, 8:45am-12:45pm.\n\nPlease note: no camp will take place the week of Mon\, Jul 13-Fri\, Jul 17. \nEach week\, the summer camp morning program will have a maximum of 10 children. This camp is for ages 3.5-6\, and all children must be potty-trained. Campers should bring the following items: \n\nWater bottle (filled).\nHealthy snack and lunch (please note: do not pack anything that needs cooking or reheating).\nSunscreen should be applied before camp each morning. There is sunscreen at camp. Please indicate if your child is allergic to any sunscreens and cannot use the sunscreen provided by the camp if the child forgets theirs.\nBug spray.\nClosed-toe shoes and shoes for water play (Crocs or water shoes).\nSun hat.\nChange clothes in a Ziplock Bag for accidents or wet clothing.\nTowel.\nTall socks (to avoid blisters with boots).\n\nCamp is $395 per camper per week. DESCRIPTION:Join My Little Farmer for Mini Rider Academy: Unicorn Camp\, hosted select weeks in June\, July\, and August. A typical Unicorn camp day is filled with pony care\, unicorn art\, unicorn-themed water play\, and unicorn lead-line riding 2 times per camp week. Campers will have snack time and lunch on the farm. This camp is for ages 4-6\, and all children must be potty trained. Camp will be mostly outdoors\, except for indoor bathroom access\, thunderstorms\, and AC-powered art breaks on very hot days\, during which they will use the indoor space. Closed-toed shoes and helmets are required for this camp. Your child should bring the following: \n\nA water bottle.\nClothes to get dirty in.\nClosed-toed shoes. \nA snack and lunch.\n\nCamp is $425/week\, with a 25% sibling discount for the second child and a 35% sibling discount for the third child. This riding camp is the perfect option for horse-loving campers. Each week includes two private lessons and daily horsemanship lessons. This camp is not suitable for advanced riders. Beginner riders or those currently in this program are recommended for this camp.
