DESCRIPTION:D&H RV & Marine hosts their Annual NC Truck Camper Rally on Thu\, Oct 30-Sun\, Nov 2\, 2025. Whether you’re a truck camper owner or enthusiast\, come enjoy the weekend at Jordan Lake State Recreation Area – Vista Point Access\, play games\, and learn from technicians through seminars. Activities include a ladies’ social\, time to show off your camper\, and the always popular bingo with prizes each evening. Since the rally falls on Halloween this year\, they’re also planning special games and events for Friday evening. \nRegistration cost covers the campsite for 3 nights\, meals provided from Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast\, and an event t-shirt. Additional Details: \n\nYou have the flexibility to arrive either Thursday evening or Friday at any time. Official rally events don’t begin until Friday late afternoon/evening.\nPlease note that if you wish to camp earlier in the week before the rally\, you will need to make your own arrangements through Jordan Lake State Park. Reservation line for Jordan Lake: 877.722.6762.\nChildren 18 and under may be registered for free and are already included in the couple/family ticket option.\nCampsites are first-come\, first-served. There are no reserved spots at Vista Point.\nThe campground features full electric and water hookups at each site\, along with a bathhouse and a dump station.\nPets are welcome at the campground. Feel free to bring your furry friend!

Part of The Road to Death Faire. \nINSTRUCTOR BIOGRAPHY \nMcKenzie Bossert\, MA\, LCMHC\, NCC\, CEDS\, is a licensed clinical mental health counselor in private practice in Apex\, NC. An integral part of McKenzie’s approach to healing is the understanding that time spent in nature is a form of medicine. She is a certified forest therapy guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs and has earned a Certificate in Horticultural Therapy from the Horticultural Therapy Institute. In addition to weaving ecotherapy elements into her private practice\, McKenzie also offers forest therapy walks to the community to raise awareness of the physical\, emotional\, and spiritual benefits of being in relationship with the land.

They performed together in The Piedmont Hepcats (along with Ted Ehrhard and Allen Cottrell) and in The Radio Rangers (with Carl Jones and Nowell Creadick). They now reunite to sing old songs and share some new ones. \nDirections. See more Bynum Front Porch events. \nARTIST BIOS \nSusie Crate likes to think she has come full circle in her storytelling and singing. After a decade of singing and storytelling in the Piedmont Triangle from the early 1980s to the early 1990s\, Susie began traversing the globe\, mainly in the direction of Siberia\, where she ultimately built an academic career researching cultural adaptations to change overall and specifically to climate change. Now she has returned to her home in Bynum to begin the next chapter of her life\, bringing stories and songs both old and new. \nKnown around the world for his clawhammer banjo playing\, Joe Newberry is also an influential guitarist\, singer\, and songwriter. The Gibson Brothers’ version of his song “Singing As We Rise\,” featuring guest vocalist Ricky Skaggs\, won an  IBMA “Gospel Recorded Performance” Award. DESCRIPTION:Join Clean Up Jordan Lake for their 2025 Annual Fall Cleanup on Sun\, Nov 2\, 1pm-4pm. This event is part of several larger events\, including The National Environmental Education Foundation’s National Public Lands Day and Keep Durham Beautiful’s Big Sweep 2025 Celebration! Here’s a map showing the area you’ll be covering. Assignments include: \n\nWalkers: You will be divided into groups at registration.\nBoaters: Boaters are needed to haul trash to the dumpster at the Army Corps of Engineers wharf near the dam. They will loan 2-way radios to boaters for communication.\n\nThis year\, they continue their tradition of offering a Trash Treasure Hunt. Items marked by “CJL TTH” are shown to the track captain\, who will issue a CJL business card redeemable for a merchandise prize at the registration table. Coffee and pastries will be available during registration. \nAll volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes and work gloves (provided or bring your own). They strongly recommend long pants\, a long-sleeve shirt\, and a hat. Shoreline Track Captains will be present to guide volunteers. Volunteers will be provided with bags\, trash grabbers\, first-aid kits\, water\, and gloves\, if needed. Pontoon boat and operator courtesy of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers \nAll participants must complete a liability waiver form online before the event. Waiver forms for Adults and Minors (age 11-18) must be submitted online by going to: \n\nAdults- https://www.cleanjordanlake.org/volunteer-waiver.\nMinors- https://www.cleanjordanlake.org/minor-waiver.\n\nDue to potential hazards\, they are unable to allow children under 11 to participate. Children over the age of 11 and under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. \nThe location is the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission Game Land Access\, which can be reached by a short gravel road off the end of Seaforth Rd.\, near US 64 in Pittsboro. For GPS\, use 2999 Seaforth Rd\, Pittsboro\, which gets you to the turn onto the gravel road. Follow the signs to parking. Please note that this location is not the Seaforth Access to Jordan Lake State Recreation Area. Parking is very limited\, so please carpool or get dropped off to save room along the narrow road. He is a writer and journalist with a fierce interest and deep knowledge of the American Revolution and will explain what life was like in Chatham County for these “other revolutionaries” on the home front during the seven long years of war. \nAll are welcome to attend this free event. A NCSU-trained engineer\, Czar has served the City of Sanford since 1990\, holding positions of City Engineer and Public Works Director before rising to Assistant City Manager. In that role\, he oversaw the creation of TriRiver Water\, the utility now serving both Lee and Chatham counties. \nThis FREE indoor event is open to coworking members and the public. It’s a welcoming\, inclusive\, and friendly atmosphere that encourages healthy\, happy living. \nFearrington Farmers Market has more than 3 dozen members and is now in its 30th season. Not all vendors are there every week\, but some vendors are there every week\, year-round. Each market features live music. Vendors include Celebrity Dairy\, In Good Heart Farm\, and bmc brewing. See their full list of vendors. \nCome early if you’d like to review what is being offered; sales begin at the scheduled time\, signaled by the bell. Bring along small bills ($20 or lower) to pay for your purchase. Some vendors accept credit and debit cards\, and most will accept checks. This event takes place outdoors\, rain or shine.
