Meet the artists\, learn about their process and artistic vision\, and browse affordable original works of art. Grab a bite to eat in town\, pack a picnic for your road trip\, or skip the drive home and stay in one of our accommodations. \nThe Chatham Artists Guild Studio Tour is FREE and self-guided. Studios are scattered throughout Chatham County\, including Pittsboro\, Fearrington Village\, Bynum\, Chapel Hill (Chatham County)\, Sanford (Chatham County)\, and Apex (Chatham County). In addition to the private studios\, tour exhibits are on display at Chatham Mills (student art) and Smelt Art Gallery at The Plant. \nWhat can I do while I’m in Chatham County? You can also choose from fresh-cut NC Fraser Firs\, NC White Pines\, and Concolor Firs\, as well as Ball and Burlap trees that can be planted after Christmas. DESCRIPTION:Join Jordan Lake Farms for Wreath-Making Workshops\, hosted on select dates in November and December. Their skilled farmers will guide you in crafting an exquisite Christmas wreath while you learn the artistry of transforming greenery into stunning festive decor. The wreath workshop includes beautiful greenery\, a bow\, a wreath ring\, and wire to finish a wreath that is 18-26 inches in diameter – perfect for most commonly-sized doors. Bring a pair of garden clippers and plastic or cardboard to lay your finished wreath on\, as sometimes sap can drain from fresh-cut greenery. Workshops take place on the following dates: \n\nSat\, Nov 22\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nWed\, Nov 26\, 10:30am-1pm.\nWed\, Dec 3\, 9:30am-12pm.\nThu\, Dec 4\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nThu\, Dec 11\, 9:30am-12pm.\nSat\, Dec 13\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nSun\, Dec 14\, 2:30pm-5pm.\n\nThis workshop is suitable for ages 13 years and older. Attendees aged 13-15 must be accompanied by an adult to participate in the workshop. Workshops will be 2-3 hours long. The number of workshop attendees will be between 5 and 15\, depending on the project.  If fewer than 5 attendees are registered 48 hours before the workshop\, the workshop will be cancelled. \nRegistration is required for this event. You will be asked to pay in full to reserve your spot for the workshop. Workshops are rain or shine and non-refundable. This event takes place in Jordan Lake Farm’s new “Hide-Away Pavilion”. Their skilled farmers will guide you in crafting an exquisite Christmas wreath while you learn the artistry of transforming greenery into stunning festive decor. The wreath workshop includes beautiful greenery\, a bow\, a wreath ring\, and wire to finish a wreath that is 18-26 inches in diameter – perfect for most commonly-sized doors. Bring a pair of garden clippers and plastic or cardboard to lay your finished wreath on\, as sometimes sap can drain from fresh-cut greenery. Workshops take place on the following dates: \n\nSat\, Nov 22\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nWed\, Nov 26\, 10:30am-1pm.\nWed\, Dec 3\, 9:30am-12pm.\nThu\, Dec 4\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nThu\, Dec 11\, 9:30am-12pm.\nSat\, Dec 13\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nSun\, Dec 14\, 2:30pm-5pm.\n\nThis workshop is suitable for ages 13 years and older. Attendees aged 13-15 must be accompanied by an adult to participate in the workshop. Workshops will be 2-3 hours long. The number of workshop attendees will be between 5 and 15\, depending on the project.  If fewer than 5 attendees are registered 48 hours before the workshop\, the workshop will be cancelled. \nRegistration is required for this event. You will be asked to pay in full to reserve your spot for the workshop. Workshops are rain or shine and non-refundable. This event takes place in Jordan Lake Farm’s new “Hide-Away Pavilion”. Tier 1 will be $90\, with a ceramic pot that fits an amaryllis and a bunch of paper white bulbs. Tier 2 is $60 with a glass vase for an amaryllis with rocks instead of soil. \nThis workshop will cover all things about amaryllis: how to plant\, care for\, and save the bulb. Things are getting spiced up with the addition of paper whites this year for Tier 1 in the pots! You’ll learn more about these fragrant\, beautiful blooms in the class as well. As part of this special Grief in Motion event\, participants will honor and speak the names of loved ones who have passed. \nThe evening will include: \n\nGuided movement and breathwork inspired by the Kundalini yoga tradition.\nMoments of stillness and reflection.\nThe ceremonial lighting of candles.\nLive music and healing sound.\n\nheart2heart is a non-profit that offers holistic services to individuals\, families\, and the community as they are walking the path of death\, dying\, and beyond.
