Take a walk through downtown Pittsboro for an evening filled with local folklore and historical reenactments. The tour blends Chatham’s rich heritage with stories and legends\, all presented by costumed interpreters portraying figures from the town’s past. \nThe journey begins at the historic courthouse and winds through old cemeteries\, churches\, and hidden corners\, with each stop offering a window into the lives of the people and moments that shaped Pittsboro. The tour will take place on the following dates: \n\nSat\, Oct 18\, 5:30pm-7:30pm.\nSun\, Oct 19\, 5:30pm-7:30pm.\n\nEVENT DETAILS \n\nCheck-in is at 5:15pm\, with the tour starting promptly at 5:30pm both days.\nAge Requirement: 12 years and older only (no pets or strollers).\nWeather: Rain or shine (rescheduled only in case of severe weather).\nThis tour takes place indoors and outside\, lasting between 90 and 120 minutes.\nBring a flashlight. Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes.\nA liability waiver will be required at check-in.\nLimited to 60 participants per evening\, split into three small groups for a more personal experience.\nFree parking is available behind the new Chatham County Courthouse and Justice Center.\nPets are not allowed; please leave your furry friends at home.\nAccessibility: Tour participants will need to be able to navigate stairs\, outdoor sidewalks\, and grassy areas.\n\nTickets are $25 for CCHA members and $30 per person for nonmembers. Their skilled farmers will guide you in crafting an exquisite Christmas wreath while you learn the artistry of transforming greenery into stunning festive decor. The wreath workshop includes beautiful greenery\, a bow\, a wreath ring\, and wire to finish a wreath that is 18-26 inches in diameter – perfect for most commonly-sized doors. Bring a pair of garden clippers and plastic or cardboard to lay your finished wreath on\, as sometimes sap can drain from fresh-cut greenery. Workshops take place on the following dates: \n\nSat\, Nov 22\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nWed\, Nov 26\, 10:30am-1pm.\nWed\, Dec 3\, 9:30am-12pm.\nThu\, Dec 4\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nThu\, Dec 11\, 9:30am-12pm.\nSat\, Dec 13\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nSun\, Dec 14\, 2:30pm-5pm.\n\nThis workshop is suitable for ages 13 years and older. Meet the artists\, learn about their process and artistic vision\, and browse affordable original works of art. Grab a bite to eat in town\, pack a picnic for your road trip\, or skip the drive home and stay in one of our accommodations. \nThe Chatham Artists Guild Studio Tour is FREE and self-guided. Studios are scattered throughout Chatham County\, including Pittsboro\, Fearrington Village\, Bynum\, Chapel Hill (Chatham County)\, Sanford (Chatham County)\, and Apex (Chatham County). In addition to the private studios\, tour exhibits are on display at Chatham Mills (student art) and Smelt Art Gallery at The Plant. \nWhat can I do while I’m in Chatham County? SUMMARY:Wreath Decorating Night at Bottom of the Fox Farm
DESCRIPTION:Join Bottom of the Fox Farm for a Wreath Decorating Night on Sat\, Dec 6\, 5pm-8pm. Each participant will receive a 24″ Frasier Fir wreath to decorate however they’d like! Bottom of the Fox Farm will guide you through the basics of gluing and wiring your decorations\, as well as basic design principles\, but other than that\, this is a time for you to get your hands dirty\, let go\, be creative\, and just have fun! They hope you’ll grab a friend\, bring your holiday spirit\, and spend a couple of quality hours together. You are welcome to bring a bottle of wine or your drink of choice! They will provide cups\, as they’d prefer not to have glass sitting on the tables while you work. There will also be hot cider and chocolate\, Christmas music and a movie on the large screen\, and a small holiday market\, should you choose to do a little shopping.  \nProvided materials include: \n\nGlue guns.\nDried fruit and flowers.\nBells and ribbons.\nPinecones.\nOther greenery.\nCinnamon sticks\n\nAnd more! If you have a special decoration you’d like to use\, feel free to bring it along with gloves. One ticket is $80 plus a $2 service fee\, and reserves one wreath. If you’d like to decorate one wreath with two people\, please only purchase one ticket. All sales are final. Tickets can be transferred. This event is hosted rain or shine.

They have a booth reserved just for you! They’ve also added the Holiday Car Show! Showcase trophies will be presented to the winners. Early Bird Car Show entry cost is only $10.
