SUMMARY:Twilight Tours at Carolina Tiger Rescue
DESCRIPTION:Carolina Tiger Rescue’s popular Twilight Tours run from March through October (Daylight Saving Time) on Friday\, Saturday\, and Sunday evenings. Tours are for adults only (guests ages 18 years and older). Twilight tours are a more intimate experience to meet CTR’s animals. During these tours\, guests are the only visitors in the sanctuary. The work of the day is done\, and the guests have the sanctuary all to themselves. Enjoy a quiet evening with the cats\, and you might just be lucky enough to be serenaded by the lions!  After all\, they are still wild animals!  As with all their tours\, they cannot guarantee what the cats will do\, but it’s hard to have a bad evening with the animals. \nThe 2026 schedule will begin on Sun\, Mar 8\, and run through Sat\, Oct 31. The timeframe provided in this event listing is an estimate – please check your tickets for the exact time slot. Your Twilight Tour will last for about 1 ½ hours. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Trained volunteer tour guides will walk you through the animal sanctuary. You will learn about the various species living at Carolina Tiger Rescue and the challenges they face in the wild\, as well as the difficulties they encounter in captivity. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and take photos\, but please note that there will be no physical contact with the animals. \nAdvance tickets are required for attendees (no walk-ins available). Tours are offered from April to October on Friday\, Saturday\, and Sunday evenings\, rain or shine. The cost is $32 per person\, and a maximum of 25 people may attend each tour. Please reach the information below before purchasing your tickets: \n\nAll tours go out rain or shine. Golf carts are available to assist guests as needed. If you have accessibility concerns\, please call 919.542.4648 to make arrangements before your visit.\nGPS may not provide accurate directions to CTR’s location. Explore the barn\, scratch a mama goat behind the ears\, and cuddle with some adorable baby goats. This is a great opportunity to learn more about small farm life\, with plenty of fun for the whole family. The price is $10 per person at the gate\, with kids ages 2 and under receiving free admission. The Inn offers homemade lunch and other goodies for sale (including vegetarian options) for an additional cost. \nOpen Barns are rain or shine\, so if it’s cold\, make sure to bundle up\, and if it’s wet\, wear your boots! Most of the event takes place under cover (and the baby goats will help keep you warm)! Free parking is available on-site. No pets are allowed. \nBook a stay at the inn to get in on all the baby goat fun\, including daily baby bottle feedings! 2-hour private barn tours are also available throughout the season (February-April 2026). Celebrity Dairy will guide you through how to feed the goats and answer all your goat-related questions. Bookings are $225 for groups of up to 15 and $15 per additional guest. DESCRIPTION:Carolina Tiger Rescue’s popular Twilight Tours run from March through October (Daylight Saving Time) on Friday\, Saturday\, and Sunday evenings. Tours are for adults only (guests ages 18 years and older). Twilight tours are a more intimate experience to meet CTR’s animals. During these tours\, guests are the only visitors in the sanctuary. The work of the day is done\, and the guests have the sanctuary all to themselves. Enjoy a quiet evening with the cats\, and you might just be lucky enough to be serenaded by the lions!  After all\, they are still wild animals!  As with all their tours\, they cannot guarantee what the cats will do\, but it’s hard to have a bad evening with the animals. \nThe 2026 schedule will begin on Sun\, Mar 8\, and run through Sat\, Oct 31. The timeframe provided in this event listing is an estimate – please check your tickets for the exact time slot. Your Twilight Tour will last for about 1 ½ hours. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Trained volunteer tour guides will walk you through the animal sanctuary. You will learn about the various species living at Carolina Tiger Rescue and the challenges they face in the wild\, as well as the difficulties they encounter in captivity. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and take photos\, but please note that there will be no physical contact with the animals. \nAdvance tickets are required for attendees (no walk-ins available). Tours are offered from April to October on Friday\, Saturday\, and Sunday evenings\, rain or shine. The cost is $32 per person\, and a maximum of 25 people may attend each tour. DESCRIPTION:Join the Chatham Social Club for their 8 Week Electro Swing Series\, hosted every Thursday\, Mar 5-Apr 30\, 5:30pm-6:30pm. Enjoy learning a fun combination of Single Swing and the Charleston. Swing dance experience required to join this intermediate-level series. \nTuition is is $288 and includes 8 weeks of group instruction for two people. This event takes place indoors and is led by instructor Lindsey Kling. Forest Hall at Chatham Mills is ADA-compliant. No pets allowed. Private lessons can be rescheduled at no additional charge as long as the lesson is rescheduled during the same month of the original booking. No refunds are available for missed group classes or for private lessons that were not rescheduled in time.

The Chatham Community Library is ADA-compliant\, including wheelchair-accessible parking\, entrances\, seating\, common spaces\, walkways\, and restrooms. The Holmes Family Meeting Room has an automatic door opener. Free parking is available outside the library. DESCRIPTION:The Pittsboro Farmers Market is open year-round and features select items from within a 50-mile radius. They are open every Thursday\, 3pm-6pm at Pittsboro’s Pop-Up Park. The product-only market features baked goods\, eggs\, flowers\, honey\, jams/jellies\, soaps\, plants\, poultry\, and other meats. Vendors include Celebrity Dairy\, In Good Heart Farm\, and Vortex Roasters. Many chefs at restaurants in our area network with Pittsboro Farmers Market vendors\, including Kingston 99 Kitchen and West End Kitchen & Catering. You can find a complete\, up-to-date list of vendors here. \nSpecial markets are hosted on occasion. \nThe Pittsboro Farmers Market takes place outdoors\, rain or shine. Leashed\, well-behaved pets are allowed. Entry is free. Bringing your own bags\, cash\, and a cooler for perishable items is advised.
