Along with lots of permission to do what you are called to do\, including a lot of beautiful “nothing” if that is what you choose\, Clapping Hands Farm invites you to bring home a new commitment to yourself and the things that make you happy. \nLouise Omoto Kessel will be your guide for this week\, along with an excellent selection of guest artists. Louise is a storyteller and a printmaker\, and she loves to felt\, collage\, and make all manner of things. She is also the founder and director of Clapping Hands Farm and the mother of two young adults. \nTrans\, non-binary\, gender-fluid\, and gender-creative humans who want to participate in Women’s Week Camp are welcome! Ages 18+ are welcome. The cost is $325 per person. Scholarships are available\, and no one is turned away. Chatham County residents receive a $25 discount. You may sign up by the day. The work of the day is done\, and the guests have the sanctuary all to themselves. Enjoy a quiet evening with the cats\, and you might just be lucky enough to be serenaded by the lions!  After all\, they are still wild animals!  As with all their tours\, they cannot guarantee what the cats will do\, but it’s hard to have a bad evening with the animals. \nThe 2026 schedule will begin on Sun\, Mar 8\, and run through Sat\, Oct 31. The timeframe provided in this event listing is an estimate – please check your tickets for the exact time slot. Your Twilight Tour will last for about 1 ½ hours. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Trained volunteer tour guides will walk you through the animal sanctuary. You will learn about the various species living at Carolina Tiger Rescue and the challenges they face in the wild\, as well as the difficulties they encounter in captivity. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and take photos\, but please note that there will be no physical contact with the animals. \nAdvance tickets are required for attendees (no walk-ins available). Along with lots of permission to do what you are called to do\, including a lot of beautiful “nothing” if that is what you choose\, Clapping Hands Farm invites you to bring home a new commitment to yourself and the things that make you happy. \nLouise Omoto Kessel will be your guide for this week\, along with an excellent selection of guest artists. Louise is a storyteller and a printmaker\, and she loves to felt\, collage\, and make all manner of things. She is also the founder and director of Clapping Hands Farm and the mother of two young adults. \nTrans\, non-binary\, gender-fluid\, and gender-creative humans who want to participate in Women’s Week Camp are welcome! Ages 18+ are welcome. The cost is $325 per person. Scholarships are available\, and no one is turned away. Chatham County residents receive a $25 discount. You may sign up by the day. She is also the founder and director of Clapping Hands Farm and the mother of two young adults. \nTrans\, non-binary\, gender-fluid\, and gender-creative humans who want to participate in Women’s Week Camp are welcome! Ages 18+ are welcome. The cost is $325 per person. Scholarships are available\, and no one is turned away. Chatham County residents receive a $25 discount. You may sign up by the day.
