At their art party\, come ready to: \n\nFinger paint.\nMake colorful slime.\nPlay in shaving cream.\nDraw with pastels\, colored chalk\, and other mediums.\nLearn to embroider on burlap or sew your own stuffed animal.\nMake your own toys.\n\nAnd so much more! Much of the day will be for adults and children to enjoy together. Each afternoon\, they offer a workshop with their guest artist specifically for creative exploration and rejuvenation for parents\, while other artists and camp counselors work with the children. Singing games provide a lively morning circle\, and days will end with a closing circle and a story told by Louise. \nThe cost is $350 for the first child + parents and $275 for each additional child. It is $50 for babies and toddlers under 2. Ages 2-8 and their parents are welcome. Per-day registration is $75 for the first child + parents\, $50 for each additional child\, and $10 for babies and toddlers under 2. Since pricing is so complicated\, no discounts are available for this camp\, but scholarships are available\, and no one is turned away. DESCRIPTION:New Beginnings Farm offers Summer Camps specializing in teaching basic balanced positions and horsemanship\, and in providing fun outdoor activities. This camp is perfect for horse lovers of all ages and levels who want a hands-on experience with horses. They have beginner school horses perfect for the most beginner and timid of riders\, as well as intermediate/advanced horses who can school higher-level dressage movements and jump 3’3 courses. New Beginnings Farm is all about meeting individuals’ wants and needs\, so they can facilitate both English and Western riding. Riding sessions will include trail rides\, riding with cows\, mounted games\, jumping\, dressage\, lunge lessons\, and bareback riding\, depending on the camper’s riding level and desires.  \nWhen not riding\, campers will learn all about horse care and participate in horse-related arts and crafts. The day is finished off with a self-packed lunch and supervised swimming. Campers with their own horse are welcome to keep their horse at New Beginnings Farm for the duration of the camp at no additional charge. They keep their camp numbers low to provide a more personal and safe environment\, so be sure to let them know if you are interested in attending so they can reserve your spot! Helmets are required while riding\, but New Beginnings Farm has a selection of helmets available for borrowing for the duration of the camp. DESCRIPTION:Join My Little Farmer in Durham for a Farm Summer Camp hosted for several weeks throughout the summer. Get ready for a fun-filled summer on the farm. Each day includes morning animal feedings and interactions\, a daily experiential project\, crafts\, and games. Campers will have snack time and lunch on the farm. This camp is for ages 3.5-6\, and all children must be potty-trained. Campers should bring the following items: \n\nWater bottle (filled).\nHealthy snack and lunch (please note: do not pack anything that needs cooking or reheating).\nSunscreen should be applied before camp each morning. There is sunscreen at camp. Please indicate if your child is allergic to any sunscreens and cannot use the sunscreen provided by the camp if the child forgets theirs.\nBug spray.\nClosed-toe shoes and shoes for water play (Crocs or water shoes).\nSun hat.\nChange clothes in a Ziplock Bag for accidents or wet clothing.\nTowel.\nTall socks (to avoid blisters with boots).\n\nCamp is $395 per camper per week. DESCRIPTION:Join the Chatham Social Club for their 8 Week Advanced W. Coast Swing Series\, hosted every Thursday\, May 7-Jun 25\, 5:30pm-6:30pm. Calling all West Coast Swing Dancers to the dance floor! Tuition is $288 and includes 8 hours of Group Instruction on Intermediate to Advanced West Coast Swing for 2 people. West Coast Swing dance experience required to join the class. This event takes place indoors and is led by instructor Lindsey Kling. No pets allowed. Private lessons can be rescheduled at no additional charge\, provided the lesson is rescheduled within the same month as the original booking. No refunds are available for missed group classes or for private lessons that were not rescheduled in time.

The product-only market features baked goods\, eggs\, flowers\, honey\, jams/jellies\, soaps\, plants\, poultry\, and other meats. Vendors include Celebrity Dairy\, In Good Heart Farm\, and Vortex Roasters. Many chefs at restaurants in our area network with Pittsboro Farmers Market vendors\, including Kingston 99 Kitchen and West End Kitchen & Catering. You can find a complete\, up-to-date list of vendors here. \nSpecial markets are hosted on occasion. \nThe Pittsboro Farmers Market takes place outdoors\, rain or shine. Leashed\, well-behaved pets are allowed. Entry is free. Bringing your own bags\, cash\, and a cooler for perishable items is advised.
