See all events at The Plant. \nABOUT THE ARTIST \nThomas Begley is a local artist based out of Pittsboro\, NC. His great love of drawing and fascination with artistic processes have encouraged him to use many different media\, most notably colored pencil portraiture and relief printmaking. He has been pursuing mural painting to experiment with design on a large scale. In all its forms\, his work is surreal and playful and is inspired by observations gathered through years of studious people-watching. He is currently working on restoring a 1996 mural painted in downtown Pittsboro by outsider artist Clyde Jones. You can find him at The Plant next to Fair Game\, where he draws caricatures for customers.
