The wreath workshop includes beautiful greenery\, a bow\, a wreath ring\, and wire to finish a wreath that is 18-26 inches in diameter – perfect for most commonly-sized doors. Bring a pair of garden clippers and plastic or cardboard to lay your finished wreath on\, as sometimes sap can drain from fresh-cut greenery. Studios are scattered throughout Chatham County\, including Pittsboro\, Fearrington Village\, Bynum\, Chapel Hill (Chatham County)\, Sanford (Chatham County)\, and Apex (Chatham County). In addition to the private studios\, tour exhibits are on display at Chatham Mills (student art) and Smelt Art Gallery at The Plant. \nWhat can I do while I’m in Chatham County? Is there somewhere to eat? To stay?\nAlong the way\, you’ll discover delicious food and drink\, eclectic shops\, and charming accommodations. Pair local food and art with a seasonal meal from one of our numerous farm-to-fork eateries. Restaurants along the tour route include Kingston 99 Kitchen and JDub’s PoBoys at The Plant\, as well as Chatham Marketplace and The Sycamore at Chatham Mills. Fearrington Village is home to several studios and plenty to experience – Fearrington House Restaurant\, McIntyre’s Books\, and The Spa at Fearringon Village\, just to name a few. \nIt’s easy to make a weekend of the tour by staying at the new Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Pittsboro\, the luxurious Fearrington House Inn\, or one of our cozy bed and breakfast inns\, such as 458 West B&B\, The Inn at Celebrity Dairy\, or Jordan Lake B&B.  \nAre the studios accessible?\nMost studios are accessible\, meaning they have wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking. SUMMARY:Wreath Decorating Night at Bottom of the Fox Farm
DESCRIPTION:Join Bottom of the Fox Farm for a Wreath Decorating Night on Sat\, Dec 6\, 5pm-8pm. Each participant will receive a 24″ Frasier Fir wreath to decorate however they’d like! Bottom of the Fox Farm will guide you through the basics of gluing and wiring your decorations\, as well as basic design principles\, but other than that\, this is a time for you to get your hands dirty\, let go\, be creative\, and just have fun! They hope you’ll grab a friend\, bring your holiday spirit\, and spend a couple of quality hours together. You are welcome to bring a bottle of wine or your drink of choice! They will provide cups\, as they’d prefer not to have glass sitting on the tables while you work. There will also be hot cider and chocolate\, Christmas music and a movie on the large screen\, and a small holiday market\, should you choose to do a little shopping.  \nProvided materials include: \n\nGlue guns.\nDried fruit and flowers.\nBells and ribbons.\nPinecones.\nOther greenery.\nCinnamon sticks\n\nAnd more! If you have a special decoration you’d like to use\, feel free to bring it along with gloves. One ticket is $80 plus a $2 service fee\, and reserves one wreath. If you’d like to decorate one wreath with two people\, please only purchase one ticket. All sales are final. Tickets can be transferred. This event is hosted rain or shine.

Come to Moncure for an incredible transformation of Old US 1 into a holiday wonderland at the Holiday Arts and Crafts Street Fair on Sat\, Dec 13\, 11am-3pm. Stroll Old U S 1 and experience the magical spirit with pop-up vendors such as Seven Springs Winery\, food\, live music\, a Polar Express Train\, shopping\, and more. Are you known for your baked goods\, homemade goodies\, crafts\, and retail items? Would you like to market and expand your organization/business reach to the community? They have a booth reserved just for you! They’ve also added the Holiday Car Show! Showcase trophies will be presented to the winners. Early Bird Car Show entry cost is only $10. Entries submitted on the day of the event will be $15. \nThis event is sponsored by Moncure-Haywood Events Organization. Admission is free. This event takes place outdoors. Free parking\, including handicap parking\, will be provided. Leashed pets are allowed\, but discouraged.
