SUMMARY:Paint From The Heart
DESCRIPTION:Express your vision with Paint from the Heart. Whatever opens the gate to your creativity and moves it forward is encouraged. Art is a process; it is often called “a journey without an end”. You will focus on creating paintings that reflect confidence while pushing boundaries and exploring new pathways for poetic expression in oil and acrylic. The aim is to use the workshop to try new approaches: exaggerated color\, energetic brushstrokes\, palette knife\, working big and small\, etc. It’s about challenging yourself to leave the comfort of familiar methods and embrace discovery as you let intuition guide your artistic choices with your photographic images. To guide student efforts\, attention to composition\, values\, color harmony\, simplifying\, and use of grays will be reinforced\, as well as discussion of materials\, supports\, brushes\, and mediums. Oil and acrylic painters of all skill levels are welcome to this workshop. The class size is limited to 12 people so that each student can receive individual attention throughout the workshop. This six-session class is taught by instructor Ann Lawtey. Please click here for the supply list guide. Not all vendors are there every week\, but some vendors are there every week\, year-round. Each market features live music. Vendors include Celebrity Dairy\, In Good Heart Farm\, and bmc brewing. See their full list of vendors. \nCome early if you’d like to review what is being offered; sales begin at the scheduled time\, signaled by the bell. Bring along small bills ($20 or lower) to pay for your purchase. Some vendors accept credit and debit cards\, and most will accept checks. This event takes place outdoors\, rain or shine.
