Along the way\, you will meander through this unique ecosystem and learn more about the five pines you can find at White Pines Nature Preserve\, including species not typically found in the North Carolina Piedmont. This will be a moderate 3-mile hike that takes approximately two hours. There will be multiple stops along the way to learn about the ecology and history of the preserve.
