It’s competitive enough to matter. Relaxed enough to enjoy. No long speeches. No ballroom chairs. Just good golf and good people. \nYou’ll get: \n\nA morning shotgun start.\nSolid competition and on-course challenges.\nAwards that are earned\, not handed out.\n\nThis tournament helps support the Chamber’s work\, but more importantly\, it’s a chance to spend a few hours with the people shaping this side of the county\, outside the meeting room and on level ground. Activities will include: \n\nGetting messy with visual arts.\nMoving and grooving with music and dance.\nDiving deep into your journals\, stories\, and conversations.\nGetting silly with random activities.\nProtecting space for some “serious” relaxation.\nPlaying hard with some big all-camp games.\n\nThe day will include a variety of workshops in the morning and afternoon: \n\nDrumming\, songwriting\, and music jams.\nBook and printmaking.\nFinger painting and body art.\nForaging and nature mandalas.\nArchery and ultimate frisbee.\nNap time with Kora music.\n\nThe camp day will also include morning and closing circles\, a small-group check-in\, and an invitation to begin the day with meditation\, movement\, or art. Guest artists will share about their Artful Life\, with a chance to reflect on your own journey after hearing their story. SUMMARY:12th Annual Chatham County Golf Classic
DESCRIPTION:Golfers\, grab your clubs for a day of fun and fellowship for a good cause as the Central Carolina Community College Foundation hosts its 12th Annual Chatham County Golf Classic on Wed\, May 21\, 9am-2pm at Chapel Ridge Golf Club. The format for the Chatham County Golf Classic is four-person Captain’s Choice. Prizes will be awarded to the top teams in each flight. Shotgun starts at 9am\, with lunch from 1pm-2pm.  \nThe Chatham County Golf Classic registration form can be downloaded from the Foundation’s website. Registration is also available by contacting CCCC Director of Community Engagement Alexandra Dowdy at (919) 718-7338 or by email at adowdy@cccc.edu. \nThe proceeds from the Golf Classic will be used to help provide scholarships and other financial assistance. The CCCC Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization affiliated with\, but independent of\, Central Carolina Community College. It receives donations of money and equipment on behalf of the college and uses them to promote its educational mission and assist students through scholarships and grants. \nSee more Chatham Sports Alliance events.
