DESCRIPTION:All events at Frog Hollow Outdoors. \nGuests must bring a flashlight to take on water\, and must pack and bring their own water and snack. Environmental factors may impact the plan for the day. Individual paddlers can register but a trip must have at least 4 registered guests for a trip to go. Private trips may be available by advance request (minimum rates apply). Gratuity for guides is always appreciated. \nPlease check out their FAQ to answer all your trip questions. \nEagle Paddles at Farrington Point\nJoin Frog Hollow Outdoors as they paddle the northern reaches of Jordan Lake in search of its majestic residents. All participants will be in solo Transitional/Day-Touring Kayaks or Sea Kayaks\, and they can not guarantee a bald eagle sighting. DESCRIPTION:Come express your creativity and create a masterpiece at the third annual Sidewalk Chalk Festival Sat\, Sep 9\, 9am-12:30pm at The Park at Briar Chapel. This free event organized by Chatham County Parks & Recreation is open to all artists – amateur and professional alike – to draw their chalk creations and spend the morning in the park enjoying the artwork\, music\, and other vendor stations. Check-in begins at 8:30am\, artists will draw from 9am-11am\, and awards begin at 11:30am. Artists are encouraged to preregister online\, but registration will also be available on-site\, on the day of the event. A tabletop drawing option is available upon request for those who are not able to draw on the ground. Open to ages 5+.
