Their skilled farmers will guide you in crafting an exquisite Christmas wreath while you learn the artistry of transforming greenery into stunning festive decor. The wreath workshop includes beautiful greenery\, a bow\, a wreath ring\, and wire to finish a wreath that is 18-26 inches in diameter – perfect for most commonly-sized doors. Bring a pair of garden clippers and plastic or cardboard to lay your finished wreath on\, as sometimes sap can drain from fresh-cut greenery. Workshops take place on the following dates: \n\nSat\, Nov 22\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nWed\, Nov 26\, 10:30am-1pm.\nWed\, Dec 3\, 9:30am-12pm.\nThu\, Dec 4\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nThu\, Dec 11\, 9:30am-12pm.\nSat\, Dec 13\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nSun\, Dec 14\, 2:30pm-5pm.\n\nThis workshop is suitable for ages 13 years and older. There’s also a 4-mile open race. Their skilled farmers will guide you in crafting an exquisite Christmas wreath while you learn the artistry of transforming greenery into stunning festive decor. The wreath workshop includes beautiful greenery\, a bow\, a wreath ring\, and wire to finish a wreath that is 18-26 inches in diameter – perfect for most commonly-sized doors. Bring a pair of garden clippers and plastic or cardboard to lay your finished wreath on\, as sometimes sap can drain from fresh-cut greenery. Workshops take place on the following dates: \n\nSat\, Nov 22\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nWed\, Nov 26\, 10:30am-1pm.\nWed\, Dec 3\, 9:30am-12pm.\nThu\, Dec 4\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nThu\, Dec 11\, 9:30am-12pm.\nSat\, Dec 13\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nSun\, Dec 14\, 2:30pm-5pm.\n\nThis workshop is suitable for ages 13 years and older. Attendees aged 13-15 must be accompanied by an adult to participate in the workshop. Workshops will be 2-3 hours long. The number of workshop attendees will be between 5 and 15\, depending on the project.  If fewer than 5 attendees are registered 48 hours before the workshop\, the workshop will be cancelled. \nRegistration is required for this event. DESCRIPTION:Join Triangle Land Conservancy for a Farewell Fall hike on Sat\, Nov 20\, 2pm-5pm at White Pines Nature Preserve. Say farewell to fall and explore the evergreen species still sticking around! It’s the last day of fall; all the leaves are gone… except evergreens! As we enter the coldest months of the year\, learn to identify evergreen trees – it’s not just the five pine species of White Pines\, but mountain plants such as rhododendrons and mountain laurel far outside their usual range. By the end of this hike\, you should know how to identify all of them and the point where the Deep and Rocky Rivers meet. This will be a 3-mile hike that will end close to sunset. Flashlights and headlamps are suggested as the hike will end near dusk. \nThis is a free event\, but registration is required. If registration is closed\, please email Amaya Horner at ahorner@triangleland.org to be added to the waitlist. \nCURRENT MASK POLICY \nTLC seeks to build a supportive\, mask-friendly environment in all collaborations with staff and the public. Connect with your senses\, nature\, and yourself- no experience needed. The session will end with a tiny tea ceremony and time to explore The Plant’s local shops and cafés. Don’t miss Rachel’s Native Plants for a living reminder of your walk. Limited spots are available. RSVP today to save yours.  \nABOUT AMY ALLEN \nAfter over a decade in ecology—working with thousands of volunteers across Colorado to restore lands impacted by floods and fires—Amy Allen felt called to combine her passions for nature\, horses\, and community. She became a certified Equine Gestaltist\, Forest Therapy and Mindfulness Guide\, and Executive Equine Facilitator\, and founded Rewild Within. Through her work\, Amy creates experiences that invite people to pause\, reconnect\, and rediscover their inner “yes.” She believes\, “nature holds the answers we seek—because we are nature. Sometimes\, we just need to slow down and remember.” \nThis event is free and will take place outdoors.
