Fair Game Beverage Company\, bmc brewing\, Starrlight Mead\, and Koshu Sake will have festive beverages and creative spirit cocktails\, specials\, and\, of course\, sparkling wine by the bottle and glass. Kingston 99 Kitchen and Ta Contento will be open for dinner. There will be fire pits\, an intention table\, a dance party under the disco ball\, and an hourly Apple Drop starting at 8pm and continuing until midnight to ring in 2026. Bring your friends and family- they’ve got something for everyone! \nThere is no cover fee for this free public event\, and parking is free. Private tables and bottle service are available for a fee. Dress code is casual attire. The event takes place indoors and outdoors at The Plant. Leashed\, well-behaved pets are allowed outside; pet policies may vary by individual business. DESCRIPTION:Join Triangle Land Conservancy for a New Year’s Day Hike on Thu\, Jan 1\, 9am-11:30am at White Pines Nature Preserve. Join TLC Trail Guides Steve G. and Pam M. on this relaxed\, social hike to get outside and start the year right! White Pines Nature Preserve contains species not typically found in the North Carolina Piedmont\, but they remain here from the last ice age because the surrounding rivers create a microclimate. \nThere will be multiple stops along the way to learn about the preserve’s ecology and history. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and warm layers. and bring a full water bottle along. This is a free event\, but registration is required. If registration is closed\, please email Amaya Horner at ahorner@triangleland.org to be added to the waitlist. \nCURRENT MASK POLICY \nTLC seeks to build a supportive\, mask-friendly environment in all collaborations with staff and the public. Please wear a mask if you are not vaccinated or if it makes you feel more comfortable. They also encourage eligible individuals to receive their COVID-19 vaccine and booster. Ring out the old and ring in the new by letting go of what no longer serves you and setting intentions for the year to come. Join Meadow in 108 recitations of the Mahamritunjaya Mantra. The Mahamrityunjaya Mantra\, or the Great Death-Conquering Mantra\, is a powerful mantra chanted during times of transition or significant change to protect\, heal\, and overcome fears. \nFor this practice\, you will chant this sacred mantra 108 times together to lift the collective vibration and invite healing\, release\, and peace. Bring your favorite mala beads if you wish to keep count. You will start with a brief discussion of the mantra and setting intentions. Not to worry if you aren’t already familiar with this mantra. You will practice pronunciation together\, and handouts will be provided so that you may follow along. \nThis is offered by donation\, with all teacher proceeds going to CORA\, a local organization dedicated to providing nutritious food to community members facing food insecurity and to helping create a healthy\, strong\, connected community without hunger.
