Their skilled farmers will guide you in crafting an exquisite Christmas wreath while you learn the artistry of transforming greenery into stunning festive decor. The wreath workshop includes beautiful greenery\, a bow\, a wreath ring\, and wire to finish a wreath that is 18-26 inches in diameter – perfect for most commonly-sized doors. Bring a pair of garden clippers and plastic or cardboard to lay your finished wreath on\, as sometimes sap can drain from fresh-cut greenery. Workshops take place on the following dates: \n\nSat\, Nov 22\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nWed\, Nov 26\, 10:30am-1pm.\nWed\, Dec 3\, 9:30am-12pm.\nThu\, Dec 4\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nThu\, Dec 11\, 9:30am-12pm.\nSat\, Dec 13\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nSun\, Dec 14\, 2:30pm-5pm.\n\nThis workshop is suitable for ages 13 years and older. Attendees aged 13-15 must be accompanied by an adult to participate in the workshop. Workshops will be 2-3 hours long. Down by the old general store\, the front porch is strung with garland and twinkle lights\, and the smell of Bynum’s famous chicken cracker stew drifts out to meet the crowd. \nIt’s Holiday Bazaar day\, and the place hums like a hive. Inside\, tables are stacked with local treasures — hand-thrown pottery still warm from the kiln\, jewel-toned scarves\, hand-poured soaps wrapped in brown paper\, and framed photographs that catch the Haw River in every season. Paintings lean in little clusters\, each one carrying the signature of a neighbor you’ve probably shared a laugh with. Shoppers drift from table to table\, warm cider in one hand\, gift list in the other. \nOutside\, the Bynum Front Porch Pickers are in full swing. Banjo\, fiddle\, guitar — the music rolls out over the lawn\, spilling into the street where folks line up for hot stew\, talking and laughing in puffs of white breath. \nAnd just steps from the front porch\, another tradition is in full gear — Christmas tree pickup. Trucks and SUVs pull in and out\, loading up fresh-cut pines that will soon stand in living rooms all over Chatham County. DESCRIPTION:Join Jordan Lake Farms for Wreath-Making Workshops\, hosted on select dates in November and December. Their skilled farmers will guide you in crafting an exquisite Christmas wreath while you learn the artistry of transforming greenery into stunning festive decor. The wreath workshop includes beautiful greenery\, a bow\, a wreath ring\, and wire to finish a wreath that is 18-26 inches in diameter – perfect for most commonly-sized doors. Bring a pair of garden clippers and plastic or cardboard to lay your finished wreath on\, as sometimes sap can drain from fresh-cut greenery. Workshops take place on the following dates: \n\nSat\, Nov 22\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nWed\, Nov 26\, 10:30am-1pm.\nWed\, Dec 3\, 9:30am-12pm.\nThu\, Dec 4\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nThu\, Dec 11\, 9:30am-12pm.\nSat\, Dec 13\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nSun\, Dec 14\, 2:30pm-5pm.\n\nThis workshop is suitable for ages 13 years and older. Attendees aged 13-15 must be accompanied by an adult to participate in the workshop. Workshops will be 2-3 hours long. The number of workshop attendees will be between 5 and 15\, depending on the project.  If fewer than 5 attendees are registered 48 hours before the workshop\, the workshop will be cancelled. \nRegistration is required for this event. You will be asked to pay in full to reserve your spot for the workshop. Workshops are rain or shine and non-refundable. This event takes place in Jordan Lake Farm’s new “Hide-Away Pavilion”. DESCRIPTION:Join Jordan Lake Farms for Wreath-Making Workshops\, hosted on select dates in November and December. Their skilled farmers will guide you in crafting an exquisite Christmas wreath while you learn the artistry of transforming greenery into stunning festive decor. The wreath workshop includes beautiful greenery\, a bow\, a wreath ring\, and wire to finish a wreath that is 18-26 inches in diameter – perfect for most commonly-sized doors. Bring a pair of garden clippers and plastic or cardboard to lay your finished wreath on\, as sometimes sap can drain from fresh-cut greenery. Workshops take place on the following dates: \n\nSat\, Nov 22\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nWed\, Nov 26\, 10:30am-1pm.\nWed\, Dec 3\, 9:30am-12pm.\nThu\, Dec 4\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nThu\, Dec 11\, 9:30am-12pm.\nSat\, Dec 13\, 2:30pm-5pm.\nSun\, Dec 14\, 2:30pm-5pm.\n\nThis workshop is suitable for ages 13 years and older. Attendees aged 13-15 must be accompanied by an adult to participate in the workshop. Workshops will be 2-3 hours long. The number of workshop attendees will be between 5 and 15\, depending on the project.  If fewer than 5 attendees are registered 48 hours before the workshop\, the workshop will be cancelled. \nRegistration is required for this event. You will be asked to pay in full to reserve your spot for the workshop. Workshops are rain or shine and non-refundable. This event takes place in Jordan Lake Farm’s new “Hide-Away Pavilion”. Bottom of the Fox Farm will guide you through the basics of gluing and wiring your decorations\, as well as basic design principles\, but other than that\, this is a time for you to get your hands dirty\, let go\, be creative\, and just have fun! They hope you’ll grab a friend\, bring your holiday spirit\, and spend a couple of quality hours together. You are welcome to bring a bottle of wine or your drink of choice! They will provide cups\, as they’d prefer not to have glass sitting on the tables while you work. There will also be hot cider and chocolate\, Christmas music and a movie on the large screen\, and a small holiday market\, should you choose to do a little shopping.  \nProvided materials include: \n\nGlue guns.\nDried fruit and flowers.\nBells and ribbons.\nPinecones.\nOther greenery.\nCinnamon sticks\n\nAnd more! If you have a special decoration you’d like to use\, feel free to bring it along with gloves. One ticket is $80 plus a $2 service fee\, and reserves one wreath.
