The town is over 100 years old and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Please note that pets and strollers are not permitted on the tour. \nTickets are $25 for Chatham County Historical Association members and $30 for nonmembers. Registration is available online only\, and advance purchase is required. Participants are encouraged to bring a flashlight and wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes. Proceeds support the Chatham County Historical Association and its efforts to preserve and share local history.
