The afternoon will begin with a Food Policy 101 keynote presentation by Community Food Strategies and the Carolina Farm Stewardship Association\, followed by a Q&A with the presenters and local organizations. The event will conclude with a networking hour with opportunities to connect with local organizations and write letters to your local representatives. \nWhether you’re already deeply involved in food advocacy or a curious resident looking for more ways to get involved\, this event is a great opportunity to learn and connect with others who are addressing school nutrition\, food assistance\, farmland preservation\, and food loss in Chatham County. \nThis event is FREE and open to the public.
