You can find a complete\, up-to-date list of vendors here. \nSpecial markets are hosted on occasion. \nThe Pittsboro Farmers Market takes place outdoors\, rain or shine. Leashed\, well-behaved pets are allowed. Entry is free. Bringing your own bags\, cash\, and a cooler for perishable items is advised. They’ll also enjoy a variety of creative and interactive experiences\, such as arts and crafts\, active games\, storytelling\, improv theater\, and more! Every day\, campers will enjoy delicious vegan snacks and cook their own plant-based lunches alongside a talented vegan chef. \nThe heart of Camp Compassion is building meaningful connections with the amazing animals at the Refuge\, including goats\, sheep\, chickens\, turkeys\, ducks\, geese\, cows\, and one delightful guinea fowl named Frizzle! Each animal has a name\, a unique personality\, and a special story. DESCRIPTION:Community Organizing for Racial Equity (CORE) welcomes you to participate in their Annual Juneteenth Black Arts Festival on Sat\, Jun 20\, 2026\, 2pm-6pm at the Chatham County Fairgrounds. Since 2018\, the Juneteenth event has undergone significant transformation\, growing from its initial location\, which accommodated 100 people\, to one that now draws over 3\,000 attendees from across the Triangle region. \nJuneteenth Black Arts Festival is a dedicated space of reverence for the impact of Black arts and culture on American culture. They commit to offering an opportunity for Black artists and entrepreneurs to build relationships and increase their exposure across communities. They honor the creative genius and spirit of excellence that prevails within the Black community because they recognize barriers that remain in place today\, excluding them from mainstream business opportunities. \nAll are welcome to this free community event. They have quite a festival planned for this year’s celebration\, which will highlight Black artists\, both local and from afar; educational opportunities about Juneteenth\, the history of the celebration\, and the resilience of Black culture through Black arts; and a vision for liberation. Attendees can also enjoy live entertainment\, art\, a Black business expo\, food trucks\, a heritage walk\, and kids’ activities\, all while challenging stereotypes and building pride in the dynamic heritage of Black Americans and American culture. This year’s event will also include a Spades Tournament.
