They are finalizing camp leaders now\, so check back for more details on this group’s leader and activities. \nIn the afternoons\, they’ll have “Anything Goes” choice classes with tons of fantastic activities to choose from – art\, games\, toy making\, nature explorations\, engineering projects\, sensory activities\, creative challenges\, music\, dance\, and more. Morning and closing circles\, buddy group check-in\, and an all-camp activity will round out each day. \nThe cost is $350 per child. Ages 5-9 are welcome. Chatham County residents receive a $25 discount. Scholarships are available\, and no one is turned away. Register here. See more events at Clapping Hands Farm.

SUMMARY:Summer Camp at New Beginnings Farm
DESCRIPTION:New Beginnings Farm offers Summer Camps specializing in teaching basic balanced positions and horsemanship\, and in providing fun outdoor activities. This camp is perfect for horse lovers of all ages and levels who want a hands-on experience with horses. They have beginner school horses perfect for the most beginner and timid of riders\, as well as intermediate/advanced horses who can school higher-level dressage movements and jump 3’3 courses. New Beginnings Farm is all about meeting individuals’ wants and needs\, so they can facilitate both English and Western riding. Riding sessions will include trail rides\, riding with cows\, mounted games\, jumping\, dressage\, lunge lessons\, and bareback riding\, depending on the camper’s riding level and desires. \nWhen not riding\, campers will learn all about horse care and participate in horse-related arts and crafts. The day is finished off with a self-packed lunch and supervised swimming. Campers with their own horse are welcome to keep their horse at New Beginnings Farm for the duration of the camp at no additional charge. They keep their camp numbers low to provide a more personal and safe environment\, so be sure to let them know if you are interested in attending so they can reserve your spot! Camp dates are below: \n\nMon\, Jun 15-Fri\, Jun 19\, 8:45am-2pm.\nMon\, Jun 29-Thu\, Jul 2\, 8:45am-2pm.\nMon\, Jul 13-Fri\, Jul 17\, 8:45am-2pm.\nMon\, Aug 3-Fri\, Aug 7\, 8:45am-2pm.\n\nThe cost is $550 per camper EXCEPT for week 2\, which is $440 per camper. Riders are asked to arrive no more than five to ten minutes early. Summer camp days run from 8:45am-2pm. See more events at New Beginnings Farm. See more Summer Camps in Chatham County. \nFAQs \nWhat age or level does my kid need to be? \n They typically recommend that campers be 5 years old or older and comfortable being away from their parents for the day at camp. Riders of all levels are welcome to their camp! They can introduce campers to horses for the first time or continue the education of more experienced riders.  \nWhat do campers need to participate? \nCampers will need to wear long pants for riding and closed-toe shoes for being in the barn. Helmets are required while riding\, but New Beginnings Farm has a selection of helmets available for borrowing for the duration of the camp. Campers will also need to bring a packed lunch\, water\, a change of clothes\, and a towel for swimming.
