Find vintage\, antiques\, secondhand goods\, jewelry\, furniture\, rugs\, lamps\, tools\, and oddities. \nThink cafe meets flea market\, meets arts and crafts\, meets Facebook market. It’s meant to be a gathering spot for children and dogs and a little neighbor-to-neighbor trading. You might also see some local produce pop up from Little Pond Gardens and other tenants! \nThe vendor fee is $15 – you can apply here. Free and convenient parking. Free entry. Fully accessible. Family\, kid\, and leashed pet friendly. \nMost events are rain or shine; if they have to cancel\, they will do so as far in advance as possible. DESCRIPTION:As part of Chatham County’s year-long celebration of America’s 250th birthday\, the Chatham County Historical Association (CCHA) is hosting an NC History Book Club: Between the Lines\, held on the third Saturday of every month in 2026\, from 9:30am-10:30am. This monthly book club will explore North Carolina’s rich history through engaging nonfiction. Whether you’re a lifelong history lover or are simply curious about the people and events that shaped our state\, join CCHA for conversation and lively discussion. \nRegister here for the June 2026 session\, where you will discuss Fire on the Beach: Recovering the Lost Story of Richard Etheridge and the Pea Island Lifesavers by David Wright and David Zoby. Fire on the Beach explores the dangers of 19th-century coastal transportation along North Carolina’s “Graveyard of the Atlantic\,” where ships carrying goods and people faced constant danger. Through the story of Richard Etheridge and the all-black crew of the US Life-Saving Service\, the crew faced discrimination and the dangers of the Atlantic\, yet rose to heroism in their service. Participation is free\, and you are welcome to bring friends. This month’s event takes place Sat\, Jun 20\, 9:30am-10:30am at the Chatham County Courthouse and Historical Museum. \nAll are welcome\, and admission is free. Activities will include: \n\nGetting messy with visual arts.\nMoving and grooving with music and dance.\nDiving deep into your journals\, stories\, and conversations.\nGetting silly with random activities.\nProtecting space for some “serious” relaxation.\nPlaying hard with some big all-camp games.\n\nThe day will include a variety of workshops in the morning and afternoon: \n\nDrumming\, songwriting\, and music jams.\nBook and printmaking.\nFinger painting and body art.\nForaging and nature mandalas.\nArchery and ultimate frisbee.\nNap time with Kora music.\n\nThe camp day will also include morning and closing circles\, a small-group check-in\, and an invitation to begin the day with meditation\, movement\, or art. Guest artists will share about their Artful Life\, with a chance to reflect on your own journey after hearing their story. DESCRIPTION:The Artful Life Camp at Clapping Hands Farm\, hosted Mon\, May 11-Fri\, May 15\, 9am-5pm\, brings together Clapping Hands Farm alums and brand new people who share the experience of being young adults who value living intentionally and creatively in a community. You do not have to identify as an artist to come to this camp\, but you will explore the artistic process both for the joy of creating and seeing what these creative endeavors can show and teach you about how to live. Activities will include: \n\nGetting messy with visual arts.\nMoving and grooving with music and dance.\nDiving deep into your journals\, stories\, and conversations.\nGetting silly with random activities.\nProtecting space for some “serious” relaxation.\nPlaying hard with some big all-camp games.\n\nThe day will include a variety of workshops in the morning and afternoon: \n\nDrumming\, songwriting\, and music jams.\nBook and printmaking.\nFinger painting and body art.\nForaging and nature mandalas.\nArchery and ultimate frisbee.\nNap time with Kora music.\n\nThe camp day will also include morning and closing circles\, a small-group check-in\, and an invitation to begin the day with meditation\, movement\, or art. Tours last around 1.5-2 hours\, and are offered on select holiday weekends throughout the year\, rain or shine. The cost is $32 for individuals aged 13 and above\, and $26 for those aged 0-12\, with a maximum of 25 people allowed per tour. Tickets are available 8 weeks before your visit. \nSee more events at Carolina Tiger Rescue. \n BEFORE YOU VISIT \nThere are several things CTR would like you to know before booking your tour.
