Melissa provides structure\, safety\, and supplies to help campers accomplish their ideas for the day. Melissa is passionate about the benefits of significant free-play time for all ages\, away from electronics. DESCRIPTION:Forest Tinkering Camp at Sun Star Farm is a small group of 12 campers led by 2 counselors. DESCRIPTION:Forest Tinkering Camp at Sun Star Farm is a small group of 12 campers led by 2 counselors. Forest Tinkering Camp is very different from Tinkering School’s format.  Campers spend most of the day in the forest based in the camp’s new shelter\, learning and developing a variety of outdoor skills: flint-knapping to make arrowheads\, chopping wood for daily campfires used for cooking\, gathering native plants\, making fishing nets\, building a water filtration system\, whittling sticks into tools\, improving in archery\, and telling stories of yesteryear.
