DESCRIPTION:4-H Health Rocks Camp Mon\, Jul 1-Wed\, Jul 3\, 10am-3pm is a three-day day camp where youth ages 10-12 participate in the Health Rocks! curriculum and learn about healthy living through activities\, Pilates\, crafts\, games\, and more. The goal of Health Rocks! is to inspire youth\, families\, and communities to come together to reduce tobacco\, alcohol\, and drug use by youth. It is a healthy living program built upon the strong foundations of life skill development and decision-making to help youth develop internal strength\, social skills\, and valuable stress management skills. This camp is offered in partnership with the Chatham County Public Health Department. This event takes place at the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center. \nPlease Note: No arrivals will be accepted before 9:50am. Campers must be dropped off and picked up on time—a fee will be assessed for late pick-ups. The cost is $60 per person. A limited number of need-based scholarships are available—please inquire with the Cooperative Extension/4-H office for more information on how to apply.
