Celebrate The Fearrington House Cookbook\, A Celebration of Food\, Flowers and Herbs\, authored by the late\, great co-owner Jenny Fitch in 1988\, just eight years after she first introduced many of these dishes at The Fearrington House Restaurant.\nMenu\nBread\nAngel Biscuits\nMain\nFried Green Tomatoes\nBrussels Sprouts and Leeks\nTwice Baked Cheese Soufflé\nHoppin’ John\nSquash Casserole\nWalter’s Pasta Salad\nTina’s Potato Salad with Green Beans and Bacon\nChicken Country Captain\nPoached Salmon with Cucumber Dill Mayo\nTenderloin of Beef with Madeira Cream\nDessert Table\nTom Thumb Cheesecakes\nBourbon Pecan Pie\nStrawberry Shortcakes\nFresh Fruit with Grand Marnier Sauce\nGuests will enjoy a buffet menu inspired by Jenny’s original recipes while dining in the gardens by the Fearrington House. This very special afternoon will include floral centerpieces created by Fearrington’s own floral design team with an eye towards Jenny’s love of native plants and flowers and a birthday cake created by our cake designer\, Corinna Morris. Each guest will receive a copy of Jenny Fitch’s book with purchase of the ticket ($150).\nReception begins at 11:30am\, with seating for lunch at noon. Lunch includes a copy of the cookbook\, the buffet with everything listed\, a glass of wine\, iced tea\, and lemonade (tax and gratuity included). \nSun\, Oct 16\, Nov 13. 11:30am\nValrhona Chocolate Soufflé Class\nLearn to make this decadent\, classic chocolate soufflé – introduced to Fearrington by Edna Lewis during her tenure as one of Fearrington’s early chefs. Once you purchase your tickets\, your confirmation number will confirm your reservation. \nCancellations with a full refund can be made until Wednesday\, November 16\, 2022. If you need to cancel or make any adjustments to your reservation\, please contact Todd Chatterton. Please note – they will not be offering seating outdoors Thanksgiving Day. \nFor those who prefer to celebrate Thanksgiving at home\, Fearrington also offers a boxed Thanksgiving “Takeout for Two” feast\, featuring all the Thanksgiving dishes you crave\, from soup to dessert. Add optional wine pairings. Order here until Thu\, Nov 10 (unless they sell out sooner) for pick-up Thu\, Nov 24 at The Barn\, 9am – 11am. \nThe Fine Print:\nTicket pricing includes tax and gratuity for the dinner only.
