SUMMARY:Fundraiser to Support St. Ann\, Jamaica
DESCRIPTION:Join Kingston 99 Kitchen and The Plant for a Fundraiser to Support St. Ann\, Jamaica on Sun\, Nov 9\, 12pm-5pm. In late October\, Hurricane Melissa devastated rural farming communities in St. Ann\, destroying 70% of the homes and 80% of the farms\, leaving families without shelter\, crops\, or a reliable income. Every dollar raised supports food\, seeds\, building materials\, and essential supplies. If you can’t attend in person\, you can donate directly to the GoFundMe supporting families in John Reid\, Cuffridge\, and Davis Town\, St. Ann. \nThis event takes place indoors and outdoors. The Plant is accessible to guests and will do its best to accommodate any additional requests. Please contact music@theplantnc.com with any accommodation requests or accessibility concerns. There is free parking. Well-behaved\, leashed pets are allowed. See all events at The Plant.
