In this workshop\, Lee Kazanas will join host Susan Baker Cartledge to discuss his own failures and successes with glazes and to help troubleshoot why he thinks your pieces turned out the way they did. He’ll discuss different glaze techniques\, the virtues of commercial glazes\, answer questions\, and provide informational handouts that can help you enjoy happier results in the kiln. \nTo register\, please click here before Sun\, Apr 5\, 2026. DESCRIPTION:Join the Chatham Artist’s Guild for a Photographing 3-D Art workshop on Sun\, Apr 26\, 2pm-4pm. Photographing 3-D artwork presents unique challenges. How do you capture the dimensionality\, surface quality\, colors\, and texture of an object? Join Amy and Greg Wandless in their studio to learn how they capture the unique aspects of their beautiful and functional pottery and woodworking\, from setting up a piece to be photographed to some helpful tips on editing your photos. Find out how they developed their techniques – what’s worked for them in the past and what to look out for. You’ll have an opportunity to discuss photographing your own artwork; they will even set up a few pieces brought by participants to see how lighting and background enhance 3-D artwork! \nTo register\, please click here before Sun\, Apr 19\, 2026.
