Learn how roads\, rails\, and other modes of transportation shaped growth\, commerce\, and daily life\, and\, through time\, changed how people moved around the county. \nTours are available at the following times: \n\nSun\, Jun 7\, 12pm-1:30pm.\nSun\, Jun 7\, 2pm-3:30pm.\n\nBEFORE YOU GO \n\nThe cost is $5 for CCHA members and $10 for non-members. Members may order guest tickets at the member price.\nMeet at the historic courthouse in downtown Pittsboro: 9 Hillsboro Street\, Pittsboro\, NC 27312. The tour will cover approximately one mile and will last about 90 minutes.\nLimited to 20 participants per tour. Participants must be aged 12 and older. No pets or strollers allowed.\nEvents are rain or shine\, canceled only in the case of severe weather.\nWear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes.\nA liability waiver is required at check-in.\nTickets are non-refundable unless the event is canceled due to severe weather.\n\nThis event is part of our Chatham Celebrates America 250 initiative.
