In 2021\, she organized the UnityFest Concert\, featuring local musicians and music students\, to help bring the community together in the aftermath of COVID-19. In 2022 and 2023\, at events supporting the missions of the Chatham County Arts Council and the Ukrainian Association of North Carolina\, Linton combined readings from her memoir with newly composed music to create an enhanced listening experience. More recently\, she participated in a Poetry @ The Plant event on women’s empowerment\, co-sponsored by the Women’s Advocacy Initiative. DESCRIPTION:Come out for Poetry at The Plant on the second Wednesday of every month\, 6pm-7pm. Enjoy an hour of original poetry from regional poets in the Fair Game Beverage Company Wheelhouse Tasting Room (and enjoy a drink and meal while you’re at it)! \nLocal NC beers\, wines\, ciders\, and craft cocktails will be available at the bar. Local dining available at Kingston 99 Kitchen and Ta Contento. This event is free and takes place indoors.
