DESCRIPTION:The Bynum Front Porch Music Series takes place every Friday\, May-Aug\, 7pm-8:30pm at the Historic Bynum General Store\, featuring a variety of bands spanning multiple musical genres\, including gospel\, folk\, blues\, rockabilly\, and bluegrass. You can park at the Bynum ball field or in the field adjacent to the store. Doors open at 6:30pm\, and food trucks are on-site. Directions. There is an outdoor stage (and an indoor one if it rains). No pets or alcohol. This event is open to the public and admission is free – no tickets required. A hat is passed around to collect contributions. Possibilities include: \n\nAn unbelievable variety of craft projects and art supplies to use.\nBig games like capture the flag\, ultimate frisbee\, kickball\, and rainbow tag.\nMusic jams\, instrument lessons\, dancing\, and songwriting.\nJournaling\, reading\, and discussing topics you’re interested in.\nExploring the forest\, fields\, trails\, and pond with canoes.\n\nTeens will have the opportunity to request their favorite activities\, and they will include as many of them as possible\, making sure your teen’s identity\, ideas\, and preferences are heard and valued all week long. See their full list of vendors. \nCome early if you’d like to review what is being offered; sales begin at the scheduled time\, signaled by the bell. SUMMARY:Teen Everything Camp at Clapping Hands Farm
DESCRIPTION:The Teen Everything Camp at Clapping Hands Farm\, hosted Mon\, Jul 13-Fri\, Jul 17\, 9am-5pm\, is all about teens spending the week outside playing\, exploring\, getting artsy\, and connecting with peers and Clapping Hands’ outstanding staff. Every morning and afternoon\, they will have featured guest artists and choice classes to pick from. You’ll get to a little of everything they have to offer at camp\, thanks to their talented staff\, special guests\, and extensive store of games\, art supplies\, and cool stuff! Possibilities include: \n\nAn unbelievable variety of craft projects and art supplies to use.\nBig games like capture the flag\, ultimate frisbee\, kickball\, and rainbow tag.\nMusic jams\, instrument lessons\, dancing\, and songwriting.\nJournaling\, reading\, and discussing topics you’re interested in.\nExploring the forest\, fields\, trails\, and pond with canoes.\n\nTeens will have the opportunity to request their favorite activities\, and they will include as many of them as possible\, making sure your teen’s identity\, ideas\, and preferences are heard and valued all week long. There will be a sharing for parents and families on Fri\, Jul 17 at 4pm\, followed by a potluck dinner! \nThe cost is $350 per teen. Ages 13-19 are welcome.
