It’s a welcoming\, inclusive\, and friendly atmosphere that encourages healthy\, happy living. \nFearrington Farmers Market has more than 3 dozen members and is now in its 30th season. Not all vendors are there every week\, but some vendors are there every week\, year-round. Each market features live music. Vendors include Celebrity Dairy\, In Good Heart Farm\, and bmc brewing. See their full list of vendors. \nCome early if you’d like to review what is being offered; sales begin at the scheduled time\, signaled by the bell. Bring along small bills ($20 or lower) to pay for your purchase. Some vendors accept credit and debit cards\, and most will accept checks. This event takes place outdoors\, rain or shine. Each afternoon\, they offer a workshop with their guest artist specifically for creative exploration and rejuvenation for parents\, while other artists and camp counselors work with the children. Singing games provide a lively morning circle\, and days will end with a closing circle and a story told by Louise. \nThe cost is $350 for the first child + parents and $275 for each additional child. It is $50 for babies and toddlers under 2. Ages 2-8 and their parents are welcome. DESCRIPTION:Community Organizing for Racial Equity (CORE) welcomes you to participate in their Annual Juneteenth Black Arts Festival on Sat\, Jun 20\, 2026\, 2pm-6pm at the Chatham County Fairgrounds. Since 2018\, the Juneteenth event has undergone significant transformation\, growing from its initial location\, which accommodated 100 people\, to one that now draws over 3\,000 attendees from across the Triangle region. \nJuneteenth Black Arts Festival is a dedicated space of reverence for the impact of Black arts and culture on American culture. They commit to offering an opportunity for Black artists and entrepreneurs to build relationships and increase their exposure across communities. They honor the creative genius and spirit of excellence that prevails within the Black community because they recognize barriers that remain in place today\, excluding them from mainstream business opportunities. \nAll are welcome to this free community event. They have quite a festival planned for this year’s celebration\, which will highlight Black artists\, both local and from afar; educational opportunities about Juneteenth\, the history of the celebration\, and the resilience of Black culture through Black arts; and a vision for liberation. Attendees can also enjoy live entertainment\, art\, a Black business expo\, food trucks\, a heritage walk\, and kids’ activities\, all while challenging stereotypes and building pride in the dynamic heritage of Black Americans and American culture. This year’s event will also include a Spades Tournament. Boyz II Mothzis a local funk/fusion band made up of young musicians who have played all over the Triangle. Influenced by Masayoshi Takanaka\, Red Hot Chili Peppers\, and Parliament-Funkadelic\, their sound is expansive and unique. \nSip and shop the Chatham Beverage District\, part of the Chatham County Craft Beverages & Country Inns Trail\, with local beers from bmc brewing\, wines and ciders from Starrlight\, spirits from Fair Game\, and sake from Koshu. Local dining available at Kingston 99 Kitchen and Ta Contento. \nThere is no cover for music\, but tips for the musicians are encouraged. Most events are rain or shine; if they have to cancel\, they will do so as far in advance as possible. Free parking is available onsite. Leashed\, well-behaved pets are allowed outside; pet policies may vary by individual business. The Plant is accessible to guests and will do its best to accommodate any additional requests.
