DESCRIPTION:The Women’s Week Camp at Clapping Hands Farm\, hosted Sat\, May 23-Wed\, May 27\, 9am-4pm\, is about creativity\, relaxation\, and sisterhood in equal measure. You’ll feel rested\, nurtured\, befriended\, and inspired. Camp days will include movement\, thanksgiving\, play\, a selection of different workshops\, leisurely lunches\, a check-in with a small group\, and circles to begin and end the day. Along with lots of permission to do what you are called to do\, including a lot of beautiful “nothing” if that is what you choose\, Clapping Hands Farm invites you to bring home a new commitment to yourself and the things that make you happy. \nLouise Omoto Kessel will be your guide for this week\, along with an excellent selection of guest artists. Louise is a storyteller and a printmaker\, and she loves to felt\, collage\, and make all manner of things. She is also the founder and director of Clapping Hands Farm and the mother of two young adults. \nTrans\, non-binary\, gender-fluid\, and gender-creative humans who want to participate in Women’s Week Camp are welcome! Ages 18+ are welcome. The cost is $325 per person. Scholarships are available\, and no one is turned away. Chatham County residents receive a $25 discount. You may sign up by the day. Both wheelchair-accessible portapotties and indoor restrooms are open to the public. MOSAIC at Chatham Park’s common spaces around campus are wheelchair accessible for public use.  \nAccessible parking spaces and a drop-off location are available at 120 Mosaic Blvd\, Pittsboro\, NC 27312\, located in the 79°West and Hops & Berry Taproom parking lot. Upon arrival\, present your Accessible Parking Placard to the event security personnel stationed at the entrance of the accessible parking lot and drop-off location for entry. MOSAIC also has multiple accessible parking spaces\, centrally located in front of building entrances throughout the campus.  \nAt this time\, MOSAIC at Chatham Park does not offer sensory kits or quiet spaces for Autistic and Neurodivergent individuals. However\, they do offer a children’s play zone located beside the Philip H. Kohl MOSAIC Family Commons.
